The 6th Annual Citizen Action of Wisconsin's Health Insurance Cost Ranking Report was released on December 20, 2011. The much anticipated annual report provides local information on cost, quality, and the rate of health insurance inflation. It is popular with policymakers, journalists, and health advocates because it provides clear and compelling data on the toll health insurance hyperinflation is taking on Wisconsin working families, government, and business. One of the hallmarks of this report is the discovery that there is a large disparity in health insurance costs between the different regions of the state, with some paying over $2,000 more per year for single health coverage. This year's report finds the largest regional disparities yet reported. The report also provides valuable insights into how to bring health care costs under control, and how best to implement in Wisconsin the Affordable Care Act, the new national health insurance law DOWNLOAD FULL REPORT HERE
