New Report Shows Ryan Medicaid Cuts Would Cost Wisconsin over 31,000 Jobs
Congressman Paul Ryan’s budget plan, which passed the U.S. House of Representatives this month, makes some of the most slashing cuts in the history of the Medicaid program. According to a new report by Families USA, co-released by Citizen Action of Wisconsin and the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups, Ryan’s proposed Medicaid cuts would put up to 31,890 Wisconsin jobs at risk, and $3.4 billion in state business activity.
