Oct. 4, 2007 - At the Citizen Action Annual Meeting we tried our first live interview podcast and video. We talked to Senator Jon Erpenbach, the Chair of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, and the author of Healthy Wisconsin. Senator Erpenbach discusses the national significance of the debate over Healthy Wisconsin this summer, and how we can win the battle to guarantee quality affordable health care coverage for every Wisconsin resident.
Sept 2007 - In our special Labor Day edition, Robert Kraig interviews AFL-CIO President David Newby on the history of the Senate’s Healthy Wisconsin plan, and the essential role the labor movement has played in bringing Wisconsin to the brink of historic health care reform.
Listen to the recent Citizen Action radio Ad, which was ran in the La Crosse media market. It features a story of a mother and father who lost their house because of medical bills for treating their sick son. The two parents implore Assembly Speaker Mike Huebsch to stop standing in the way of real health care reform.
